Typing.Rerivo is a free typing speed test that runs entirely in your browser. No account, no paywall, no upload: pick a duration from 15 seconds to 10 minutes, type, and get your WPM, accuracy and consistency instantly.
Most typing tests on the web are heavy pages that ask you to sign up, show ads between every test, or hide your results behind an email wall. This one is built the opposite way: one fast page, one test, one result, and everything stored in your own browser so your history stays yours.
It started as a single page and grew by listening to what people actually searched for: timed variants from 15 seconds to 10 minutes, practice for punctuation and capital letters, number and symbol drills, a certificate you can print, a Dvorak keyboard that matches your layout, and one hand typing practice for people who type with a single hand.
WPM uses the industry standard of five characters per word, counted from correctly typed characters divided by elapsed minutes. Accuracy is the share of correct keystrokes, and raw WPM counts every keystroke including mistakes, so the gap between the two shows how much correcting you do. Consistency measures how stable your speed was across the whole test rather than just the peak.
The text you type never leaves your browser, and there is no server-side scoring because there is no need for one: JavaScript on this page does all of it.
Questions, corrections to a practice text, or ideas for the next typing drill are welcome at hello@rerivo.com. If you would like the site in your language, that is the fastest way to make it happen.
